Tonight, Vancouver Granville NDP candidate Yvonne Hanson tweeted that her laptop was stolen from her campaign office on West Broadway.
'It happens,' she wrote. 'If anyone gets weird messages from any of my accounts, please let me know asap.'
She also stated on Twitter that she has filed a police report and changed all of her passwords.
Hanson plans on buying a new computer on Saturday (October 12).
'Hoping it is not politically motivated but given the weird circumstances it absolutely could be,' Hanson wrote on her Twitter feed.

At 24 years of age, Hanson is one of the youngest B.C. candidates in the federal election.
